ARC-EN-CIEL NOCTURNE 2003
Le ciel nocturne évoque le visage d’un ciel
bleu démaquillé.On peut contempler et
écouter ce qui, de jour, s’y cache. L’infini de
l’univers nousmène aumonde de l’imaginaire.
La nuit tombe et, entre ténèbres et silence,
on perçoit unemultitude de sons, comme
l’arc-en-ciel qui apparaît en plein jour dans
un ciel bleu délavé par la pluie.Ces sons provoquent
des va-et-vient entre réalité et imagination,
nous entraînant dans le désarroi et
l’anxiété.Mais, dans lemême temps, se crée
unmystère qui peut nous soulager.

Ces sons, je les nomme “musique de l’arcen-
ciel nocturne”.De nuit, on ne peut observer
d’arc-en-ciel,mais c’est ce que la
musique peut rendre perceptible en nous
suspendant entre réalité et imaginaire.

The nocturnal sky evokes the blue sky’s face
without itsmakeup, one can contemplate and
listen to thatwhich by day is hidden, the infinite
universe leads us to an imaginaryworld.Night
falls and between darkness and silence, one
perceives amultitude of sounds as one does
when a rainbowappears in full day light in the
washed out blue sky. These sounds provoke a
coming and going between reality and imagination,
confuse us andmake us anxious, but at the
same time, they create amystery that can comfort
us. I name these sounds ‘themusic of the
nocturnal rainbow’. By night, one cannot see a
rainbowbutmusic can render it perceptible by
suspending us between reality and imagination.
